Attack From Space Deluxe Collection

It's all you can do to focus on the new fantasy paperback you picked up at Food Towne yesterday. But wait! There is hope! What is this folded-up bundle of papers your friend just handed you?

ATTACK FROM SPACE is a rules-light, art-heavy roleplaying game inspired by the doodles and daydreams in the margins of every notebook I owned. It's the smell of freshly distributed Ditto'ed worksheets and art classes spent reading comics instead of painting fruit. It's cheap photocopiers, medieval knights with epic enchanted swords, and cadres of little green alien invaders from outer space clashing at the mouth of a dragon's den!

The game is built on the LUMEN system from Spencer Campbell, which is the perfect structure for a game like this. It uses few stats, a couple of six-sided dice, and is focused on a combat-based EPIC adventure! What better system to use when playing heroic knights jousting against mutants on hoverbikes? 

My goal with Attack From Space was to make something as faithfully accurate to what I would have made in high school art class when I was supposed to be painting still life or whatever. Every single page is a mad mix of cut-up pages, old textbooks, and sketches, with fun little doodles on almost every inch of every page!  A lot of the fonts were printed, then freehanded onto the pages with a mix of pencils, crayons, markers, pens, and my pal, the white gellyroll pen. This is NOT a sane, normal-looking RPG. That said, all purchases also include the "Ditto Edition" which is a sanitized, easy-to-read version of the game!
